Spring Ballroom and Ballet Program: Socialization with the New and Old Blossoms in Debeljaca – Torontalvasarhely

Clock is ticking and the time to be with the people you love is NOW. How I spend time with my love, Tibby?  Here are the things we do. We spent the right time to socialize with local people in Debaljaca in the day and night of May 19, 2012. We have tried the coolest hip among oldies, the Spring Ball, which was started at exactly 8 o’clock in the evening and Ballet Culmination Program at 5pm.

Hmmm… it is better really to plan ahead, so we can prepare. In the morning, we had to go to Pancevo to shop at Maxi, to withdraw some money to sustain our needs and to stop over in the park and near the lake to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Waiting for the time is so boring, so we decided to witness the ballet presentation at the Cultural Centre at 5pm as soon as we got home from the City. We enjoyed some ballet performances of the kids. Most of their parents who were taking videos and pictures were really proud of them. While sitting with them, I have pictured out the feeling having kids of my own performing on stage. Listening to music and watching them dancing made me move to tears. I have realized how lucky they are to have parents who make time to watch their performance. Even they are not really performing well, but still for the parents, it’s the BEST.

After the ballet presentation, it is too early to come to the party that night, so my honey convinced me to stay in his friend’s house. Still, time flied so fast that we almost forget the time, so we were in the ball 15 minutes passed 8. You can see them dancing with the live band music. Even we were not the first couple to be on the ball, but we were welcome warmly and were given nice spot on the right side table at the most corner.

Few minutes after, the table was ready and everybody was excited what the menu was. They served us soup, then, the sausage, bread and salad. Even the nights filled with heavy foods and alcoholic drinks with chocolate brandy that caused us to felt tired and drunk, no one can stop us to groove on the dance floor. Actually, you can ask unlimited beverages if you want.

After eating, we need to finish the music by dancing on the dance floor at pass 12mn. I felt so tired, but it was fun to be with the late blossoms. I mean the old couples. If you dined with them, you would be inspired to strengthen your marriage. They danced together as intimate as they were when they were at 20’s.  I just whispered to Tibor, “ We should be like them. Still, so in loved at their old age”. The party ended up with another raffle draw. Everybody was happy because all of the 16 couples won a 1000 worth prize gift certificate. Our prize is 1000 worth painting products. We know we couldn’t use it, so we gave it to Adam as a gift.

Keeping a relationship requires time – time for each other if you are couple and time for your child if you are a parent. To keep your relationship strong, you need to make time. Seeing these two incidents makes me feel how important is time for your love ones even when you are old or young. Thank you for the local people of the Debaljaca town for giving this wonderful lesson in life- MAKE TIME.

Memories in Austria from June 7 to June 16

Day 1 in Vienna – June 7, 2012 Leaving Budapest makes me sad, but going to Vienna makes me so excited. Another cultural experience has been waiting for us. So, the day before we left the country, we made sure that we have the necessary foods for the trip and cash because we need to buy train ticket. We woke up early and started walking at 5am heading to the Train Station, Budapest- Keleti. We supposed to leave at 6:05 am; however, there was something wrong with the rail jet, so we were transferred to another train that left at 7:10. We reached in Wein Meilding station in Austria at 9: 58am. Of course, travelling is not really all fun. I felt so tired specially, you can’t sleep well and you have to wake up so early. This train or Railjet 60 is much faster than the train we had from Bekes while the train from Debeljaca to Becej is the slowest of all. This is really second to Bullet Train. They have comfortable seats and ventilations. They give us program to inform us about ...

Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey

Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are the most beautiful mosque I've ever seen in my life. Looking at this makes me feel better after having a feeling of nausea of the 10-hour-trip. I felt relieved when we arrived safely in Istanbul, Turkey. I've realized that this gonna be the biggest trip ever. Ending the last leg of the Euro trip with a bang!!! Hagia Sophia Blue Mosque

Copenhagen: The Model of Happiness and Unity

June 26-27, 2012 Horrifying Check-up from Customs Reaching Copenhagen is not easy journey as what we usually had. We were in the middle of the road like for 10 hours. With in those hours, we were checked by the two group of customs from Germany and Denmark.  It was horrifying the fact that they have to check our passport one by one.  Both of these customs had different goals in mind. Like the Germans, they have to check for illegal immigrants. One of us was found that there was something wrong with his passport. He was asked to get off and not to continue the trip. Not only that, after we crossed the sea for 45 minutes in a Roll on Roll off ship, we were being checked by the Danish customs. It was quite horrifying because they were checking if your passport was real or not. Aside from that, since this Eurolines bus was from Amsterdam, they were also checking for stash or drugs.  Guess what! Four of them were asked to get off for full body scan ...
