Copenhagen: The Model of Happiness and Unity

June 26-27, 2012 Horrifying Check-up from Customs Reaching Copenhagen is not easy journey as what we usually had. We were in the middle of the road like for 10 hours. With in those hours, we were checked by the two group of customs from Germany and Denmark.  It was horrifying the fact that they have to check our passport one by one.  Both of these customs had different goals in mind. Like the Germans, they have to check for illegal immigrants. One of us was found that there was something wrong with his passport. He was asked to get off and not to continue the trip. Not only that, after we crossed the sea for 45 minutes in a Roll on Roll off ship, we were being checked by the Danish customs. It was quite horrifying because they were checking if your passport was real or not. Aside from that, since this Eurolines bus was from Amsterdam, they were also checking for stash or drugs.  Guess what! Four of them were asked to get off for full body scan and check up.

Amsterdam: The City of the Real Freedom and Tolerance

“Amsterdam is an exciting place, swarming with young people all over the new homogenous Europe, a city that never sleeps. “ The Tale of the Body Thief By Anne Rice The world of bikes, city of freedom, marijuana, erotic museums and red light District, windmills, tulips and funny and dancing buildings and cheese… All these remind me of Amsterdam, Holland. Indeed it is so exciting, specially every weekend, you can see the crowd of partying people from different places in the world. We arrived at Hans Brinker Hostel by bus and tram (from AmstelStation, we caught line 12 to Victorieplein then changed line to 4 and we stopped at Keizersgracht) on the 23rd day of June. Our accommodation is at the very central location of Kerkstraat that made us easy to get around. Amsterdam is really famous is for its cafés and restaurant, so we never far from a tasty brew or a glass of wine. One of the famous beers here is the Heineken. I wouldn’t surprise our hotel offers pubs and bars.

Incredible Stories and worth remembering Experience in Berlin for two days

From June 20-22, 2012 Berlin is very memorable for me. It is the picture of reality and two pictures of the past – glorious and tragic.  According to the history, Berlin was divided into EAST AND WEST Germany. You will notice the advancement of the west and the abandonment of the East. Right now, they are working on rebuilding the destroyed building of the east and redoing it. They made the hot-air balloon to escape from east to west Berlin. We enjoyed our- two-day- stay in Berlin, Germany so much. We had variety of experiences and surprises on their history and culture. Here, you can learn two sides of the story. On the 20 th of June, we arrived Berlin at exactly after four hours like around 1pm.. We were like a lost children in the bus station, didn’t know where to go. We didn’t know on how to get to the Magrafenstrasse. I checked my map on the Berlin’s guide; it said that it we’re located in no. 2. Hmmm… not pretty far (!) We were looking for UBhf Kochstrass

Communism and Nuclear Bunker Tourism: Bringing the Past Back

Museum Tour and adventure is what we came up on the last day in Prague. I was not pretty familiar on how the bunker would be look like. So, when my husband suggested that we’d go there the next day, I gave it a try. We woke up early for our breakfast and getting ready for the tour at 11am. We left like 30 minutes before the time. We didn’t know the location. All we can rely on was our MAP. While following the map… There was some trouble happening. We got lost each other. I went straight and went out somewhere and he went up in the Parukarka Park. We’re struggling to find each other. I was worried about him. I was thinking to wait in the park because I know he would get back on me. Unfortunately, he’d never been back, so I was slowly walking back home. There, I saw him coming. He kept looking for me and he even went back home to search me. Very unfortunate… we missed the 11am and we had to go back home. We explained to the attendant of the hostel in Marabou Hostel what
