Dumaguete is Worth for Our Second Visit on April 16-17, 2015

Now we are heading to another spot, DUMAGUETE. We are on the bus again. I didn't know that we can go there by bus. Sitting there quietly while enjoying the green mountains and sea view along the road, etching in my mind is our fond memories when we were there as an engaged couple back in March, 2011.

"One sunny morning, we arrived in the Port of Dumaguete from Tagbilaran City via boat. The first thing we did was to find our accommodation and maybe had some food to eat. One place there that attracted me was the Rizal Boulevard. It is a walking street along the sea and I could feel the splashing of the waves when it hit the beach side of the boulevard. For some reason, this place appealed to me. Every time I walk here, I felt a kind of magical attraction seeing families having a picnic, chat, and play guitars, people eating in the restaurants and shops, some active women and men doing their exercise routines and Zumba dance. It was a just beautiful place of congregations after a busy and stressful day at work and walking here enjoying the moonlight and seeing the city lights gleaming on the water. It feels I am in the different world. I never felt I was in the city. The cool ocean breeze gave me that tranquility while holding the hands of the person I love and soon I want to marry. “

'You know hon, I miss that moment when we were there the first time because I could jump on  and off from the bike without worrying anything because I wasn't pregnant and we could even go far as much as we like.'

'It is okay. We will just take it slow this time and enjoy.'

It is a different story now. I have to slow down and just enjoy Dumaguete this time. Taking everything slowly but fun and just simply savoring every moment.

AT SIBULAN PORT

I found myself awake from the conductor's noise as he was telling us to get off. Then l notice that we arrived in Lilo-an and we were stopped at the wharf where passenger ferry ( speedboat) waiting for us to board.

"We still have few minutes before the boat left. Hurry up! Let's take a few shots."

Click. Click.

My nose is visibly big in its size as it grows bigger at the same time with my belly.

While my hubby is taking pictures of the view outside the vessel, here I am pregnant woman sleeping soundly to

Before I know, we safely docked in Sibulan and from there we took a tricycle to take us to the city.

Of course, it is our second visit. We know we just arrived.

Nothing has changed except the sign, I love Dumaguete which illuminates at night. It adds attraction among tourists to stop here and take selfies to post on their social media. Isn't it a good idea to market the peaceful city of Dumaguete.

After checking in and having our meal, we were strolling around the Rizal Boulevard looking for a good hilot or massage. We knew there were many of them in the park. You just have to bring your own towel and oil. After the exploration, we decided to see and visit the bar again where we used to watch live shows. But it looks like, it started very late and I am so sleepy already, so we have to go back to our place.

But still, walking along under the greenish leaves of the huge balete trees was very magical. That's what I love about here.

On our second day, we were checking on the map and looking for a good swimming pool to cool down a bit in this hot summer which we had never done the last time we were here. We were hoping to find a recreation pool, but instead, we ended up in this Olympic swimming pool. It doesn't matter as long as my husband could do his swimming laps.

I am excited to see my sister because she'd never been home since she was working in Santander which is very far from home. I remember that she told me it was fiesta the same day we were there, so we don't want to miss this opportunity to meet her friends and tenants' family.

After swimming in the complex, and visiting and looking around at their crowded market the next day, we decided to leave and catch the next boat to Cebu Island. From there, we will catch a jeepney to take us to my sister's address. We have to rush to the ticketing area because the boat gets easily packed up. People come and go back and forth to the said island.

Memories in Austria from June 7 to June 16

Day 1 in Vienna – June 7, 2012 Leaving Budapest makes me sad, but going to Vienna makes me so excited. Another cultural experience has been waiting for us. So, the day before we left the country, we made sure that we have the necessary foods for the trip and cash because we need to buy train ticket. We woke up early and started walking at 5am heading to the Train Station, Budapest- Keleti. We supposed to leave at 6:05 am; however, there was something wrong with the rail jet, so we were transferred to another train that left at 7:10. We reached in Wein Meilding station in Austria at 9: 58am. Of course, travelling is not really all fun. I felt so tired specially, you can’t sleep well and you have to wake up so early. This train or Railjet 60 is much faster than the train we had from Bekes while the train from Debeljaca to Becej is the slowest of all. This is really second to Bullet Train. They have comfortable seats and ventilations. They give us program to inform us about ...

Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey

Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are the most beautiful mosque I've ever seen in my life. Looking at this makes me feel better after having a feeling of nausea of the 10-hour-trip. I felt relieved when we arrived safely in Istanbul, Turkey. I've realized that this gonna be the biggest trip ever. Ending the last leg of the Euro trip with a bang!!! Hagia Sophia Blue Mosque

Copenhagen: The Model of Happiness and Unity

June 26-27, 2012 Horrifying Check-up from Customs Reaching Copenhagen is not easy journey as what we usually had. We were in the middle of the road like for 10 hours. With in those hours, we were checked by the two group of customs from Germany and Denmark.  It was horrifying the fact that they have to check our passport one by one.  Both of these customs had different goals in mind. Like the Germans, they have to check for illegal immigrants. One of us was found that there was something wrong with his passport. He was asked to get off and not to continue the trip. Not only that, after we crossed the sea for 45 minutes in a Roll on Roll off ship, we were being checked by the Danish customs. It was quite horrifying because they were checking if your passport was real or not. Aside from that, since this Eurolines bus was from Amsterdam, they were also checking for stash or drugs.  Guess what! Four of them were asked to get off for full body scan ...
