In this forest, I breathe in every way that it is possible to expand my lungs in my brain, and my soul with these giant eucalyptus trees. Very massive!
It feels so good to do this with my tribe while exploring every Australian flora that stretches into my life to remind myself to rest and to relax. The route also took us to the discovery of the pools.
It wasn't sunny then, a little drizzling added on our excitement to look for a cover. I find it perfect - not too cold and not too hot for my tribe to walk and discover the little lake that has a shack at its end. There are plenty of visitors, bringing their lunch boxes, had their rag on beside the lake.
And, I saw also a couple who had their prenuptial photos taken while my kids were just running and playing on and off the bridges.
But what struck me the most is the towering giants of eucalyptus trees. Few were standing and others were fell off the ground hit by the lightning. One tree has a hollow in the middle of it may be because of the insects or its age. They cut it off intentionally and left half of the branch, so the tourists can feel being inside this huge creature. And, they had their photo taken posing as if the tree gave birth to them.
Lesson: Even giants do fall. So, don't anchor yourself to what is temporary but anchor yourself to what is essential. It is essential to anchor our faith to our big God who will be with us standing tall over the test of time.
