The Unexpected Tour in Monaco and Nice: Turns out to Be a Beach Adventures

July 19-21 It has been always fun if everything has realised as we plan them, but it wasn’t happening that way.  I was shaking and feeling so scared that I couldn’t stop from thinking about what would probably happen in the midst of the dark night if we arrive at an unknown place. Despite the fact that thrilled me, I was so certain that we were coming to Nice at 3 in the morning by the same Euroline pass.  As far as we know that Nice is the only nearest city that has the connection to Vienna, so we were hoping to book a bus when we got there. Even we knew beforehand that we should book 2 days in advance. Just come what may (crossing our fingers that there would enough spot for us)! The unexpected or expected things happen, we couldn't even book for Vienna on 20th (fully booked), and so WE WERE literally STRANDED for two days. We were advised to catch the next one on Sunday same time. Imagine the frustration and disappointment we felt.  As we went down,we

A Special Commune with Rome and its History

"Worst Unforeseen Traveling Exhibition to Rome" As plan we had to catch the train from Venice to Rome. We thought everything was easy as we planned, but it turned out to be in the worst scenario. It was 10:05 P.M. we decided to leave the camp site and started walking to the bus station for bus no. 5. We missed to hear the alarm clock because after we arrived from the Venice City at 9P.M. we were asleep. We packed for only 15 minutes and bringing this heavy backpacks and other stuff. We were waited up for the bus for an hour. I was in a sweat and agitated that we almost missed the train. Eventually, after an hour of waiting bus 5 came. We  had 30 minutes before the train departed. Al of the sudden, the bus driver had to stop and told us to transfer to another bus station.  Oh! the doziness and exhausted by battling after roaming around Venice was so visible that I was sitting on the bus floor using my backpack as to cushion my butt.  The rising of my blood

Discovering Venezia on Tibor's Birthday

About Venice:  Tibby's birthday July 14, but was extended until 15. If you are planning for honeymoon and want to have romantic place to spend with, I recommend you to go to Venice, Italy. You can try enjoying the beautiful scenery on a gondola -a light flat-bottomed boat used on Venetian canals, having a high point at each end and worked by one oar at the stern. But for us, we were just satisfied using our feet to explore the beautiful and unique place of Venezia. We arrived in Venice earlier than the expected arrival. I had a bad impression after I saw the unpleasing harbor. There's no beach really. We stopped at the Eurolines office where it's not the main bus station. I had to pause in front of the office for almost an hour because it's close we need to get a new ticket for Rome. On the other hand, Tibby was roaming around looking for the main bus station. I felt so happy seeing him back, so we could fix our ticket. He went inside wai

In the Heart of Barcelona : Scenic Beauty

Barcelona has been the exciting place for its beach and beautiful scenery and panoramic view to visit. Indeed, the country is famous with its Gaudi and Las Ramblas. It is only Barcelona where you can see the weirdest and coolest building designed by Gaudi and the swarming of people in the walking street of La Ramblas colon.   What made La Ramblas Colon colorful and fun is the different human statue wearing their costumes for tips if you want to have a picture with them. Good thing. Our accommodation was just along this famous street. There, you can find the two metro lines such as form the Drassanes and Liceu. You can also find the fruit and vegetables market along the Ramblas Colon called Mercat de la Boquerera.   Ramblas colon for me is the exciting walking street at night. You will enjoy the pleasure looking at the paintings and smiles of the people who were being sketch by the artist here.   Nearby, you can find the Plaza Reial, which i s a square in the Barr

The Friendly and Warmth Smile of Madrileño

We were in Madrid from July 7 to 8, 2012. I've learned from Madrileño: FRIENDLINESS Filipinos were colonized for 300 years and have great cultural influence from them. As soon as I arrived in the capital, Madrid, I felt " I belong here". Looking at their cute noses that is shaped like mine, and other characteristic features that we have in common. Their cultural influences are very visible from our experiences. :( As we went down to always start the first step with CITY EXPLORATION, we stopped at the Plaza de España to take pictures. It is the largest and most popular square located at the end of Gran Via, the busiest street in the city. It is very clean and street cleaners are maintaining the square well. We went along the street and we reached in the park, I was surprised on how dirty it was. Scattering empty wine and bottles was all over the place. Just like in the Philippines, during special occasions like festival, th

Bitter Journey from Stockholm to Paris: Sweet Miracle Happens

Testing of Faith in Stockholm: We are stranded for two days… Kissing and hugging my husband, thanking him for this wonderful night camping. Our first camp together in Stockholm. Bad things happen for us, but God meant it for GOOD. We experienced the miracle of God during our journey. I know He has been working on us and He works on the impossible thing. On Friday, we were excited to book for next destination, which is in Hamburg on Sunday. Unfortunately, the agent told us with her unfriendly face and unapologetic that there was only one slot for Sunday’s schedule. Come to think that neither one of us can’t go separately."I don't want to go alone," I exclaimed.  We shrugged and having these sad faces, we sit down and having deep thoughts about what she said. We looked at other options like going by train or other bus lines. After checking the prices, we gave up. We agreed that risking 1000 SK for each is like sleeping for 3 nights accommodation. We sigh
